In the early ’70s, surfers from Southern California traveled down the rugged Baja coast, exploring the breaks along the way. During these journeys, they often stopped by tiny cantinas where locals introduced them to Pacifico. Over time, the surfers began bringing cases of Pacifico back to the U.S., making them the beer’s first importers. Pacifico is made with filtered water, malted barley, hops, corn and yeast. Its clean and hearty flavor makes Pacifico an exceptionally drinkable lager.
